We’re Jake & Anna Tenney—Portland wedding photographers and a husband and wife team. We specialize in crafting genuine and joyful love stories through fine art film photography. We’re so glad you found us!

Anna : I can still see it perfectly—the private estate nestled in the hills, our closest family and friends, all surrounded by spring blooms. My most cherished memories were made the day we became husband and wife.

Jake : I’ll never forget her coming down the aisle. That feeling of all my dreams walking towards me, the beginning of forever with my best friend—everything else faded but her. It just doesn’t get any better than that!

HEllo    Welcome

We were married in 2009 & Sweetlife was founded in 2010

for us, the sweetlife is ...

After all, the idea that life is sweeter together than apart is where our name, Sweetlife Photography, comes from. In our humble opinion, sharing your life with your best friend and having their companionship and complete acceptance is a glimpse of heaven. This kind of love inspires our art, and it’s why photographing romantic couples who are joyful about marriage is so deeply fulfilling to us.

BEING MARRIED

He’s our sweet and silly morning cuddler, and he fills our lives with so much joy! Watching his curiosity for life grow each day has given us a whole new reason to exist.

OUr son, NOah

We were drawn to it’s classic charm, historic neighborhood, and the sweetest stained glass window we’d ever seen. It’s our favorite place to be! There are few things we’d rather do than curl up at home with a fire and good movie.

Our little 100 year-old home

We are truly a team, each bringing our own skills and expertise to the table. We love spending our days working side by side, and it continually teaches us about each other, about patience, grace, and the limitless potential of shared ideas.

Working together

 Her curls.
Her baking obsession.
The way she loves me without hesitation or condition.

His kind eyes.
His spot-on character voices.
His companionship.
